We are proud to share that Grable Martin PLLC was recently appointed to serve as special counsel to the Trustee for DZS Inc. (and various US affiliates) in order to facilitate the sale of assets of the bankruptcy estate and to advise the Trustee regarding various other corporate, intellectual property and securities compliance matters.
This was a very complex transaction requiring the involvement of the firm’s attorneys from different practice areas, including corporate, bankruptcy, IP and securities lawyers. The Grable Martin team facilitated the sale of DZS assets on a very compressed schedule, consummating a sale in less than 6 weeks, thereby maximizing the value received by the Trustee for distribution to the creditors. The buyer intends to continue operating the business under the new name, Zhone Technologies Inc.
