Professional Experience

Marshall is an entrepreneur’s attorney who combines experience, integrity, and a servant’s heart. Since 2011, he has advised entrepreneurs and business owners through every stage of the business lifecycle, from startup and growth to succession and exit. Raised in an entrepreneurial family and having built his own practice, Marshall understands the challenges business owners face. He focuses on delivering practical, cost-effective legal solutions that protect businesses, support growth, and create long-term value. As a fractional general counsel to businesses across Texas, Marshall has advised clients on business formations, acquisitions, joint ventures, contracts, real estate transactions, collections, and business disputes. He also assists clients with succession planning, estate planning, trusts, probate, and estate administration. Known for being approachable, responsive, and solutions-oriented, Marshall believes every client and every situation deserves a tailored strategy. He values integrity, service, and long-term relationships, and is committed to helping clients achieve both their business and personal goals. Whether guiding a startup through its first major decision or helping an established company navigate a complex transition, Marshall’s approach remains the same: practical, strategic, and client-focused. When you work with Marshall, you gain more than legal counsel—you gain a trusted advisor dedicated to your success.

Personal Story

Marshall is a Texan and Fort Worth native.  While he may be mostly Italian, his Fort Worth heritage keeps his boots polished.   Son to a successful attorney and title office owner, and grandson to a real estate developer and builder, he grew up with an entrepreneurial spirit.   After graduating from the Oakridge School, he attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he graduated with dual B.A.s in Psychology and Government, and a minor in Business.  After UT, he returned home to Fort Worth to attend what became Texas A&M University School of Law in 2010. After graduation and passing the bar, he began his own practice right out of law school, eventually partnering with Cotten Schmidt LLP in Fort Worth in 2019 as an associate and as a Partner since 2021, before joining the ranks of Grable Martin PLLC. Marshall is a lucky husband to his amazing wife of 13 years, April, and dedicated father to his beautiful 10-year-old daughter, Gia.   He is active in the Fort Worth community, and has been a singing-member and servant at Highridge Church in Benbrook, Texas since 2018. When not spending time with his family, helping his clients or helping his friends, Marshall enjoys fast cars, shooting clay, the outdoors and karaoke.
