Professional Experience
Michael is a seasoned trial lawyer with decades of experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes across a wide range of industries. He has tried dozens of cases in state and federal courts, as well as in bench trials and arbitrations. He advises clients through every stage of dispute management, from pre-litigation strategy through trial. His practice includes contractual disputes, corporate and securities litigation, landlord-tenant and real estate conflicts, non-compete and fiduciary litigation, oil and gas matters, lender liability claims, and fraud-related disputes. He began his career at Jenkens & Gilchrist, later joined the Dallas litigation boutique Crouch & Ramey—subsequently merging into Kilpatrick Townsend. In July of 2020, Michael joined Grable Martin PLLC, where he continues his work as a trial lawyer representing individuals, startups, small and mid-sized businesses, and Fortune 500 companies.
Personal Story
Michael grew up in Burleson, Texas, a small town just south of Fort Worth. After graduating from Burleson High School, he headed to San Antonio to attend Trinity University, where he studied political science and played football, lettering all four years. He graduated from Trinity in 1991 and went on to begin law school at Southern Methodist University the following year.
